ABOUT US
Based in Durban, South Africa, Momme was founded by Robyn Edwards with a vision to create effortless chic
maternity clothing for the modern mom to be.
We got tired of seeing SAs beautiful expecting moms scratching
through the XXL section of their favorite go-to clothing
stores just to keep up their fashion forward look while
catering for their ever growing bump. We end up with moms
in the same old black tights and over sized fashion T’s.
We wanted to create something different from the collared
and buttoned up happy-house-wife polkadot maternity dress
we’ve seen regurgitated in maternity stores for
the last decade! We believe that just because your body
is changing you don’t need to put your style on
hold.
With modern moms in mind we design both trendy and essential
pieces for moms-to-be. Our seasonal collections are carefully
crafted and our team of stylists and designers has poured
its passion and talent into developing maternity clothing
that meets the needs and expectations of future moms.
We take the time to find the perfect fabrics, and also
take care to balance volumes, cuts and colors, while maintaining
the brand’s creative and trend forward momentum.
We proudly design, style and create everything in South
Africa, supporting local fabric makers and seamstresses.
Today, we design beautiful clothes you can wear from the
first to the ninth month of your pregnancy and beyond.
